The Enciclopedia del Transporte Informal en América Central (Encyclopedia of Informal Transportation in Central America) & the Datathon co-created knowledge on various modes of popular transportation present in Central America. Centro Para la Sostenibilidad Urbana (Center for Urban Sustainability) led the project in partnership with University College London and Agile City Partners, with support from the UK Embassy in Costa Rica and the Global Network for Popular Transportation. The initiatives were a first step to a Global Encyclopedia of Informal Transportation.
